part 1: Ayurveda, Yoga and You

A lecture based workshop on some of the practices and medicine of Ayurveda.  There is an asana portion which focuses on Surya Namaskar (particulars) for balancing the doshas.  This is a workshop.

  • Discussion on “science of life” and Ayurveda’s answers to preventing disease in the body/mind.

  • Explanations on gunas, doshas, prakriti and vikruti.

  • Structuring and sequencing yoga and meditation practices for balancing the various constitutions of mind/body.

part 2 Ayurveda Cleanse - Eat for Life

A lecture based workshop.  No asana.  Discussion based on a class Ayurveda cleanse (a reset for body and mind).  Included is a 7 day cleanse booklet with daily recipes and practices.
